This is my version of a Himalayan hat, made with brocade embroidered silk. It is a richly colored cobalt blue with hues of purple and pink. The back bow is adjustable to your head circumference in iridescent silk of blue and pink. Top that off with a richly blue colored mink to keep your head warm. You can adjust the depth of the hat by making the mink trim thinner or wider depending on the depth of your head (up to 6” of mink width).
The inside is lined with black satin for comfort. The top is capped with a matching brocade button.
The depth can allow for a variety of hairstyles like buns or pony tails without discomfort and extra room.
This is a handmade unique item made by me. It is one of a kind as I may not make another like it. It is inspired by my travels to the east , my love for rich color, rich textiles, and natural history.
